He has gathered Germany’s most important collection of classic Hollywood-glamour photographs and also spends his free time as a silent movie pianist.
Hans-Jürgen Schaal works as a freelance music journalist and author, edits Germany’s leading jazz magazine, “Jazz thing” and curates a series of concerts in southern Germany.
